Soldiers of Crossman

I would like to join. I'm using a new character but am NOT a new player. Only level one. I have free running, shotgun shells, pistols and ammunition, binoculars, a radio, I just ran out of FAKs unfortunatley, and a flack jacket. I have clan experience in the Spetsnaz as well. I love survivors, hate zombies (specifically the group known as MOB) and really what more is there to ask, lol! My username here is the same in urban dead. Currently in East Becktown.

Anyway, if you would, please change your group name to "Soldiers of Crossman" (mind the capitalization and the spelling) and add your name to the members list on our wiki page. Once you do both of those, I'll set you up with permissions to access additional boards here.

And zombies are people too, ya know. Crying or Very sad

I even have an alt in the MOB. Most of the people here are survivor-only though, so I'm sure you'll get along fine.

Nah, don't worry its not like I hate people who use zombies, I 90% of the time get killed by MOB, I'm guessing that you might have had something to do with my recent demise in the attack on the CAPD compound. I was there when the recent attack came down. And sorry, I'm not sure how to post my profile. (I didn't have to do that to get into my other clan, just had to meet up with the leader and exchange some emails, who happened to be at CAPD, just my luck lol) I will post my username on your wiki and update my group name after I am able to post my profile. I just don't want to do that without your approval.

To get the link to your profile, while you're in the game, just click on your name in that box of text that's under the suburb minimap. It should give you a page with a list of your skills, as well as the date you joined, your XP, and some other stuff. Copy the link from your address bar in your browser and paste it here.

And yep, afraid so. It was the strike time my alt works with that cracked open the barricades on CAPD and formed the beachhead for others to pour in. There were 55 of you inside when we came in, and as I recall, within three hours you were down to under 30 and we had over 30 zombies inside. It was pretty bad, but after the way you guys slowed us down for a day at Cyril, I think everyone wanted to return the favor by putting you down quickly.

Anyway, I don't bite with my survivor. :)

Ya, I was acting as a scout for a bit but I died in the taking of CAPD, recently revived though! I gave one of the last reports of how many zombies were out side, at that time it was 10 outside Cyril, 3 outside CAPD and some more at the School and Museum. Also several groans were heard South East of us, that was a day before the overunning, I won't tell which way we retreated though. My profile http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1681691 . Not many survivors are cannibals, lol. I hear you guys are based here in East Becktown, I've also seen some members wandering around, so if thats true I guess I'm not far from were I need to be. Don't worry I'm not a liar, remember its my alt that fought in CAPD, I fired the first shots at the zombies outside the CAPD, unfortunatley, they had flesh rot.

Well, MOB posts its recon, so it doesn't really matter where you all retreated. If you're in Foulkes Village, they'll clear you out. And even if you did say where you went, they have a very strict policy of not accepting information from other sources, such as other groups, alts their members have, etc. If I really tried to share that information with MOB, I'd likely get myself kicked out.

As for where SoC is...our members get around, but we're mostly in the Northwest. We'll provide you with orders that give our location once you're in. From what you say, it sounds like you're in East Becktown right now. Is that correct?

And no worries about you being a liar, though you did make a quick trip to get from Foulkes Village to East Becktown, and your XP seems a bit low for someone who got in the first shots of the battle. :P

Anyway, that was the link I needed. If you could please follow my earlier instructions regarding the group name and wiki, I'd appreciate it. Post again once you do that so that i can double-check to make sure things are all squared away.

No my alt was in Foulkes, SpetsnazGaurd is a new character I made, lol. I have to say though its easier to start the second time around! Anyway, my alt started in Chudleyton and I made my way down to Foulkes, after being killed off, I decided to make a new alt for fun called SpetsnazGuard. I am trying to join you as SpetsnazGuard, lol. I guess I'm kind of confusing you. Even if you were able to tell MOB of my location I still wouldn't tell you because of my alt's clan rules NO RELEASING ANY INFO TO ANYONE WHOM IS NOT KNOWN BY MY CLAN LEADER!

So, I took a look at your wiki and the members page and I NEVER use wikis so I'm going to need further instruction again... I feel like I'm blowing myself out of the water here, lol. So I know how to post my name and a link to the wiki, but I do not know how to get the link to my profile as a number and I do not have my own wiki page (do I need one?)

As for the wiki, go through the following steps:
1) Make an account on the wiki.
2) Go to the SoC Members page.
3) Click the edit link on the page (or click here).
4) Scroll to the very bottom of the code that comes up.
5) Follow the instructions at the very bottom of the code.
--Your character id is 1681691, which was the # at the end of the link you gave me earlier.
--Your wiki name will be the name of the account that you sign up with.
--You should already know your character's name. :)
6) Save your edit to the page.
7) Let me know when you do. I'll clean it up after that if you made any mistakes.

Also, you don't need to make your own wiki page, just an account, though you can if you want, since several of us have done so. If you want to learn how to do wiki stuff, the best way to learn is to click the edit button at the top of a page and look through the code. Start with simple pages and look through their code, then work your way up to more complex pages. my page is relatively complex, so I wouldn't start with it, but it also has a lot of examples of various things on it.

We do indeed offer revives to our members when they're in our area of operation. Check the boards you now have access to. There are places to post requests for a revive, as well as information about where we're currently operating.
